Sustainabil-IT Values

At Sustainabil-IT, we strongly believe in a shared set of lived values, relatable to all. Our values stand on their own principle but when knitted together create a powerful harmonious image of what we stand for.

Our values were chosen by the team and were determined by us finding our own company “Ikigai” or “reason for being”.

Sustainability

We believe that contributing positively to the UN Sustainable Development Goals is a great barometer for organisations who aspire to be great corporate citizens. At Sustainabil-IT, we don’t just talk about sustainability, we live it.  From our remote-first policy that avoids CO2 emissions from regular commuting and travel, to our 4-day working week for work/life balance, our use of 100% renewable energy and zero-emissions vehicles for customer on-sites, sustainability is our passion.

Transformation

Our purpose is about “being the change we want to see in the world”. We exist to help organisations become purpose-driven and addressing ESG in a holistic manner, that means a shift from “box-ticking”, towards holistic action. We know that transformational change is very challenging – and our values keep focus on the end-goal when the inevitable bumps in the road happen.

Trust

Trust is the foundation of healthy business partnerships and we understand that trust is earned. We deliver on our promises and our solutions and technologies do what they commit to do. As teams, we trust in each other’s complementary skillsets that combine to deliver outcomes to our customers.

Transparency

We are fully transparent with all our clients and employees. We listen intently to our customers, in order to understand your challenges before we make recommendations, knowing that every customer situation is different and cannot be fixed by a “one size fits all” approach. Importantly, we focus on what is the right thing to do, not on who is right.

Compassion

Compassion is essential to our ethos as an organisation and we respect each other’s different circumstances. Remote working helped many organisations to see people holistically and not just as their role in the organisation. We are proudly a remote-first organisation and give people the choice – no mandated days in the office, meet up together with a purpose in mind, not because it’s a Thursday! Our 4-day working week recognises the importance of work/life balance, allowing more time to re-charge and spend quality time with family and friends.
